Playing St. Nick is a fairy tale fantasy for adults only. Not for the faint-hearted is this version of Nicholas, who is a demonic Devil-inspired heartless monster feeding on
children and brutalising adult rescuers. A creature of ice and snow is Nicholas, and ice for him is just one more tool in his reportoire.

Escaping from villagers who have used their children as bait in a trap set to catch him, Nicholas encounters Christopher Columbus, and unfortunately for Nicholas, ends up
caged on the ocean floor for four hundred years. But escape he eventually does, due to the determination of an historian-explorer and the greed of the salvage ship, and he
is let loose on the unsuspecting city, where he is at pains to destroy the faux Santas who mock him, and to consume all the children.

J. L. Foster’s richly detailed morbid imagination is demonstrated yet again. Caution: Playing St. Nick is not a bedtime tale! The sensuality is scorching, and the horror is
terrifying. Read with all the lights on and keep those doors locked.
