The results are enough to make Dalu nearly lose his sanity. When Tati finds him in the dungeon, then is trapped herself, Grunard slates them both for after-dinner entertainment: multiple rape-torture, then rape and death by the enormous demon Xorgh. Kaydana’s only hope is to enlist the aid of Grunard’s son, Makreth, the Prince, who has his own hidden agenda, and his own means of ensuring Kaydana’s cooperation with his plans.
